Nickelodeon Star Drake Bell Reported ‘Missing and Endangered’

People are praying for actor Drake Bell after he was reported missing in Daytona, Florida.

Many people remember Drake Bell, whose birth name is Jared, from his time as a star on Nickelodeon. Bell starred in several fan favorites including Drake and Josh and The Amanda Show.

Bell is now 36 years old and police have labeled him “missing and endangered.” He was reported as last being seen in the Mainland High School Area on the night of April 12.

Bell was reportedly driving his 2022 gray BMW. The Facebook post shared by the Daytona Beach Police Department then asked the public, “if you know where he is or have any information, please contact Detective Jayson Wallace at 386-671-5207 or wallacejayson@dbpd.us.”

Bell has been fairly quiet on social media. His last post comes on April 3 when he tweeted about a recent podcast he recorded.

The actor-turned-musician has found himself accused of several disturbing acts in recent years. The first came from his former girlfriend Melissa Lingafelt who accused Bell of “verbal and physical abuse.”

Bell denied those allegations only to plead guilty to “attempted child endangerment and disseminating matter harmful to juveniles” in 2021. Those charges came after Bell was accused of grooming his victim since the age of 12 and sexually abusing her when she was just 15.

He was sentenced to two years probation and 200 hours of community service.

Bell was married to his wife Janet Von Schmeling during this time. The pair separated in 2022 and share a son together.

Reports of Bell’s disappearance come just days after a source close to his former co-star Amanda Bynes was put on a 72-hour psychiatric hold.

According to the source, the psychiatric hold comes after Bynes “hasn’t been in contact with her family for quite some time.”

As TMZ reports, Bynes sought out help for herself after finding herself in a psychotic episode this weekend. Bynes was allegedly naked on the streets of Los Angeles when she flagged down a passing vehicle asking for help on the morning on March 19.

The actress allegedly told the driver that she was coming down from a psychotic episode and needed help. She then called 911 herself.

Responding law enforcement took Bynes to a nearby police station where a team of mental health professionals put her on a 5150 psychiatric hold, TMZ reports. No other physical injuries were reported.
