Many of us look to doctors because they offer solutions and suggestions as to how we can stay healthy. We never think much about them getting unhealthy, but Dr. Mehmet Oz is traveling down that road.
It isn’t necessarily a problem with his health, although I’m sure that he is experiencing a great deal of stress over the situation. The problem is a dispute that surrounds his late father’s estate.
Dr. Oz and his mother and sister, Seval are accusing their sister Nazlim of forging her father’s signature on documents to steal millions of dollars from the estate. They claim that she transferred the funds to various countries, including the Cayman Islands, India, and elsewhere. It has been verified by a Turkish handwriting expert that the signature was forged.
Nazlim has also started her own lawsuit against Dr. Oz in the New York Supreme Court. She said that she is due $15,000 per month over three years of rental income that comes from the family.
At this time, Dr. Oz is requesting that the court put that lawsuit on pause while the other lawsuit is resolved.
Family disputes can get ugly and it is unfortunate that Dr. Oz is dealing with this. We hope that he is able to get through it successfully.
