Our thoughts and prayers are with Martha Stewart

Yesterday, Martha Stewart announced in an Instagram post that she is now making a full recovery after having surgery. In the accompanying photo, she can be seen with a bandage on her left leg, and there is a statement that explains how she was hurt.

“Neither the photograph nor the background tale could be described as very cheery. Bad timing on everyone’s part, “the restaurant magnate got things going. After then, Martha continued to describe the background of the situation, stating that she had torn her Achilles tendon quite sometime before.

She “tried to get it to mend on its own to no avail,” so she ultimately opted for a three-hour surgery to repair it after her previous efforts were unsuccessful. She is currently resting and getting better at home for the time being. She is taking it easy. Martha estimates that it will take up to six weeks before she is fully recovered and able to resume her normal activities: “I have been given the instruction to remain in a prone position with my leg raised for the next two weeks. After that, you will need to continue using crutches for another two to four weeks. After then, there might be some more typical activity.”

Martha followed up the initial photo with a second post on Instagram that showed her laying on a full-sized heating pad while her foot was elevated. She explained that this position is very “restorative.”

As for what caused her to get hurt in the first place, it was a completely unavoidable accident that she was involved in. “The majority of these ruptures happen when people are dancing or participating in sports. My accident was brought on by an unexpected step into a hole while I was getting out of the car in the dark “In her writing, Martha

Let’s all send her some positive vibes and healing energies so that she can feel well soon. Martha, I hope everything works out for you!
