Pink Cancels Shows Due To Illness

Pink is in the midst of a world tour called her “Trustfall” tour, but some fans are quite disappointed. They’re not disappointed in her music, her athleticism or her stage presence during shows. They’re disappointed that more of her shows have been canceled.

On October 17, 2023, Pink posted an announcement on Instagram specifically directed at her fans in Tacoma. She wrote, “I am so sorry to inform the Tacoma ticket holders that the two shows October 17 and 18 (tomorrow and Wednesday) will be postponed.”

Pink was vague about the reason the shows were being canceled, but she said it was because of a “family medical issue” and that the shows would be rescheduled.

Now, just three days later, Pink has announced that more shows are going to be canceled. Again, she posted an announcement on Instagram, but this time it was directed at her fans in Vancouver. She explained that the shows originally scheduled for October 20 and 21 were also canceled and would eventually be rescheduled.

This time Pink was more specific about the reason the shows were canceled. She explained, “I am deeply sorry to share that I have a respiratory infection and my doctor has advised that I am unable to perform at the Vancouver shows on Friday and Saturday.”

It is not currently known if the respiratory infection is the “medical issue” that caused Pink to cancel the shows in Tacoma or if that was an unrelated issue.

While we wish Pink a speedy recovery, we also know that as much as she enjoys being on tour, she also enjoys when a tour ends. In an interview with Sirius XM, she explained what she misses most when she’s on tour.
