Online creator and nurse, Bailey Hutchins, passed away on February 7.She died from colon cancer according to an Instagram post from her husband Caden Hutchins. The TikToker known as Healing With Bailey was 26.
“I’m devastated to say that my Bailey B has passed away last night. She fought such a tough incredible fight these past two years and she’s no longer suffering from all the torturous pain she has endured during this journey. Being your husband and caregiver has been such a blessing to me.”
“You were and always will be such a light in any room you fill Bailey, and such an inspiration to others,” he added. “Your faith could move mountains Baby, unfortunately God had bigger plans for you Up Above. Until we meet again.”
Caden Hutchins announced Bailey’s passing on her TikTok account, @healingwithbailey, where she had amassed over 170,000 followers while raising awareness about cancer symptoms.
She first revealed her cancer diagnosis when she was 24 years old, in January of 2023. She posted, “ I have been in the hospital for the last 5 days and have undergone 2 surgeries to identify and remove a tumor in my colon. I currently have Stage three colon cancer which has obviously devastated me and my family.”
Just last month, Bailey revealed to her TikTok followers that a mass on her colon was causing an obstruction, leading to her hospitalization. However, she later decided to keep the rest of her health journey private.
“I’m not going to share any updates on what’s actually going on with me because I just can’t,” she shared in a January 19 TikTok. “I just cannot. But I’m here. And I’m alive.”
Her husband shared that the past month had been an “absolutely devastating nightmare” for both Bailey and their families as she fought cancer for the past two years.
