Prayers are needed for Jay Leno

A motorbike accident that took place last week left Jay Leno with injuries, just a few months after he suffered burns of the second degree when a fire broke out at his house in Los Angeles.

In an interview published on Thursday by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the well-known comedian revealed that on January 17, he was “knocked off” his motorcycle and hospitalized as a result of his injuries.

He added: “I’ve got a shattered collarbone. I’ve got two shattered ribs. My kneecaps are both broken in two places.”

Thankfully, Jay is adamant that he is making a full recovery. The celebrity responded, “But I’m OK.” “I’m okay, I’m working. I’m working this weekend.”

Jay claims that he was riding around on a 1940 Indian motorcycle when he noticed the odor of gasoline and decided to stop over.

He explained his actions to the Las Vegas Review-Journal as follows: “So I turned down a side street and cut across a parking lot, and unbeknownst to me, some man had a wire strung across the parking lot but with no flag hanging from it.”

“You should know that I didn’t realize it until it was too late because of this. It just came out of nowhere and gave me a clothesline before sending me flying off the bike. You are familiar with the outcome of this scenario: the bike continued moving forward.”

After a fire broke out in his garage in Los Angeles, California, in November 2022, Jay was taken to the hospital with significant face injuries.

In a statement that he issued at the time, he said: “Because of a gasoline fire, I sustained some major burns. I am ok. I’ll be OK in a week or two; I just need some time to get back on my feet.”

Due to his injuries, he was forced to cancel his appearance in Las Vegas, and an email sent to attendees read as follows: “Jay is unable to travel because he is currently dealing with a very serious medical emergency, but his family was unable to provide us with very many details about the situation. We have no more information other the fact that he is still alive, therefore tonight we will pray for him and his family.”
