On October 1, Andrews celebrated her birthday. She was spotted at the Sag Harbor farmers market, selecting fresh flowers. Her vibrant aura was apparent, and she greeted the paparazzi with a smile, while leaning on her walking cane for support.

Recounting the previous year’s birthday, Andrews mentioned, “I spent it with family at home. The following evening, we dined out. The overwhelming amount of wishes and kind gestures deeply touched me.”

In a 2022 interaction with Vanity Fair, Andrews looked back at her groundbreaking role in the Disney classic, Mary Poppins, a performance that secured her the Best Actress Oscar.

Discussing her experience, she said, “Working on something novel like this for Walt Disney and singing the Vaudeville-esque songs of Mary Poppins was unique.” She continued, “Tracks like ‘Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious’ and ‘Jolly Holiday’ reminded me of English vaudeville tunes, which was part of its charm.”

Andrews’ entry into the entertainment arena was marked by her legendary roles in Broadway hits such as My Fair Lady (1956) and Camelot (1960).
