Prayers From All Over Come In For Cop Who Died Suddenly While On Duty

A police officer who collapsed while on duty has passed away, according to a statement from the force. PC Ged Walker was on duty with West Midlands Police when he collapsed on March 20. He was taken to hospital but sadly passed away.

The officer’s colleagues paid tribute to him, with Chief Superintendent Ian Green saying: “It is with great sadness that we learn of the death of our colleague PC Ged Walker. Ged was a much-loved and respected member of our force, and his loss will be deeply felt by all who knew him.”

PC Walker joined the force in 1994 and worked in a variety of roles during his career. He was based in Birmingham and was well-known and well-respected within the local community. He is survived by his wife and two children.
