Kate Middleton Confronts Meghan Markle Over a Misunderstood Remark

For those following the royal family, tales of discord between the likes of Princes Harry and William and their wives, Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton, are all too familiar. It’s hard to picture a time when the pairings were harmonious.

Initially, Harry’s introduction of Meghan to his brother and sister-in-law showed promise of a strong bond. The media quickly labeled them the Fab Four, forecasting a thriving partnership.

But as their wedding approached in 2018, tensions began to mount, leading to undeniable cracks in their once cordial relationship.

A particularly well-known dispute revolved around bridesmaid dresses, a topic brought to light in Harry’s startling memoir, “Spare.” There, Harry recounts how Kate reached out to Meghan, stressed about Charlotte’s ill-fitting dress just days before the big event.

“Meg didn’t reply to Kate straight away,” Harry detailed, noting the myriad wedding-related obligations overshadowed by ongoing family issues, namely her father’s heart surgery. He continued, “The next morning she texted Kate that our tailor was standing by. This wasn’t sufficient.

“Meg asked if Kate was aware of what was going on right now, with her father. Kate knew, but insisted on discussing the dresses. After all, the wedding was imminent!”

A quick exchange followed: Meghan, seemingly exasperated, replied: “Yes, Kate, I know…”

Harry Describes Emotional Toll on Meghan

This was not their only disagreement. Another incident involved rehearsals for the wedding day, where some minor detail slipped Kate’s mind.

Meghan, in a lighthearted manner, suggested that perhaps Kate, who had given birth to Prince Louis less than a month earlier, was experiencing ‘baby brain.’

Harry mentioned in “Spare” how Kate took offense to this comment.

According to Harry, during a post-honeymoon meeting intended for reconciliation, Kate brought up the conversation with Meghan.

Harry described Kate’s confrontation: “You talked about my hormones. We are not close enough for you to talk about my hormones.”

Meghan was seemingly puzzled by the reaction and explained that she often spoke that way with friends. William then labeled Meghan as ‘rude,’ suggesting it was not how people behaved in Britain.

In response, Meghan firmly told William to “take your finger out of my face.” Quite the scene.
