This Christmas season is on the way, and Prince Louis is giving thanks.
This holiday season, Prince Louis has shown a heartwarming gesture of gratitude. During the fourth annual Together at Christmas carol service, the youngest of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s children penned a special note to his grandparents.
Prince Louis, just 6 years old, left his message on the ‘Kindness Tree’ situated outside the historic Westminster Abbey in London. This was the site of the festive gathering attended by his older siblings, Prince George, aged 11, and Princess Charlotte, aged 9.
The touching note read, “Thank you to Granny and Grandpa because they have played games with me,” lovingly directed to Michael Middleton and Carole Middleton, his grandparents from his mother’s side.
Princess Kate, aged 42, who announced her battle with cancer back in March, shared that she completed her chemotherapy on September 9 through a personal video. The video, shared on Kensington Royal’s official channels, featured heartwarming moments with Kate’s parents playing games alongside Louis, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte, with Prince William and Kate also present.
A royal insider shared with PEOPLE, “Her parents play a significant role in the nurturing of their grandchildren.” Reports suggest that the Middletons are known to help with school runs and occasionally host sleepovers for the three children.
James Middleton and Pippa Middleton also joined the celebration
Kate’s siblings, James and Pippa, were seen at the carol service alongside their parents, Carole, aged 69, and Michael, aged 75. Although King Charles and Queen Camilla couldn’t make it, the entire Middleton family was there to support the Princess of Wales.
During the event, Princess Kate shared a delightful tidbit with Kate Mansey, a reporter for The Times. In a conversation with the renowned singer-songwriter and actor Paloma Faith, Kate revealed an adorable moment with Louis. When discussing a surprise ballet performance for Charlotte, she recalled Louis eagerly wanting to reveal the secret, saying, “Mummy, please can I tell her – I’m bursting.”
Princess Charlotte, with her love for ballet, was seen displaying her interest by standing with her feet in a dancer’s third position during the service.
The palace disclosed that on December 6, Westminster Abbey will welcome 1,600 guests for a holiday performance. This special event aims to honor individuals who have made a difference in their communities through voluntary services, personal relationships, or their professions, alongside those who have faced significant challenges this year.
