On December 6, 2024, the renowned Royal Carols: Together at Christmas, hosted by Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, took place for the fourth time at the enchanting Westminster Abbey in London.
This special concert was initiated by Kate in 2021, during which she performed on the piano to honor the lives lost during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2022, the concert was a heartfelt tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II, celebrating her enduring legacy.
For those who wished to enjoy it from the comfort of their homes, the concert was broadcast on ITV at 7:30 p.m. UK time on Christmas Eve, December 24.
The event was graced by the presence of Kate’s supportive husband, Prince William, and their three delightful children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and the always lively Prince Louis.

“Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year,” began the Princess. “It’s a time for gifts, decorations, and delicious mince pies. More importantly, it’s a moment to pause and ponder over the profound connections that bond us all together. By stepping away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, we open our hearts to love, kindness, and forgiveness—the true spirit of Christmas,” expressed the Princess before the service commenced.
She further conveyed: “The Christmas story prompts us to empathize with others’ experiences and emotions. It also allows us to reflect on our own vulnerabilities, underlining the vital need for empathy and mutual support despite our differences.”
Numerous attendees noticed a tender moment between Kate Middleton and her youngest, Prince Louis, known for his delightful antics, which are all part of his youthful charm.
Lip reader Nicola Hickling observed the exchange in a video clip circulating online, showing Kate beaming down at her son. According to Hickling, Louis sweetly assured his mother, “We’re looking out for each other.”
