This revelation followed Queen Elizabeth II’s cousin, Lady Elizabeth Anson, reportedly expressing the Queen’s reservations about Meghan’s marriage to Harry.
Dampier asserts, “I think, sadly, Meghan never planned to permanently stay within the royal fold. Her marriage to Harry was a stepping stone to further her own fame and success, which initially worried Prince William.”
“This is the reason they fell out. Now, with insights from someone closely tied to the Queen, it just adds more credibility,” Dampier added, emphasizing how revealing this information truly is.
