In a sorrowful turn of events, Rob Reiner’s eldest daughter has shared her thoughts following the tragic passing of her beloved father and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner.

Rob Reiner, renowned for his significant contributions to Hollywood as a successful filmmaker, was found alongside Michele at their Brentwood, California home. This heartbreaking discovery was made on December 14.
According to reports from TMZ, the couple had sustained injuries that appear to be consistent with those caused by a knife. This has prompted an exhaustive investigation by the LAPD’s Robbery Homicide Division, as authorities search for answers in this unsettling case.
Later that evening, a family spokesperson confirmed the couple’s unfortunate passing, expressing the deep sorrow felt by those who knew Rob and Michele.
“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Michele and Rob Reiner,” the family’s representative stated. “We are heartbroken by this sudden loss, and we ask for privacy during this unbelievably difficult time.”

During a press conference, LAPD’s lead detective, Alan Hamilton, shared that the investigation into their deaths is ongoing.
“At this time, the LAPD is not seeking anyone as a suspect or as a person of interest … and we will not be doing that until we conduct our investigation and we move forward,” explained Hamilton.
Rob and Michele were the proud parents of three children – Jake, Nick, and Romy. Rob’s first child, Tracy, from his earlier marriage to Penny Marshall, spoke out first among the siblings.
