An old video of the legendary Robin Williams discussing Donald Trump has re-emerged, captivating audiences with its “striking” and “ahead of its time” commentary.
Williams, who tragically passed away at the age of 63 in 2014, was celebrated for his unparalleled comedic genius and a broad spectrum of memorable characters that spanned stand-up performances, movies, and animated projects.
Over his illustrious career, he was honored with an Academy Award, several Golden Globes, and multiple Grammy Awards.
Originating from Chicago, Williams kicked off his comedy adventure in the mid-1970s and continued to be a lively presence on the stand-up circuit, even as he became a prominent figure in the film industry.

Recently, a clip from his 2012 stand-up show has been making the rounds again.
In the clip, Williams humorously recounts a Thanksgiving he spent in Atlantic City, likening it to “The Wizard of Oz on acid,” complete with “junkies, pimps, and pizza, oh my!”
He then humorously pivots to Donald Trump, remarking, “And Donald Trump is the Wizard of Oz, he is the guy. He plays Monopoly with actual buildings. This is a scary man.”
Back then, Trump was primarily seen as a real estate tycoon, gaining fame for his ventures like Trump Plaza in 1984, followed by Trumpโs Castle and the Trump Taj Mahal Casino in 1990.

These Atlantic City landmarks would eventually become symbols of his financial troubles, with Trump Entertainment Resorts declaring bankruptcy three times from 2004 to 2014.
Most of these casinos were closed and sold by 2016.
Despite their eventual downfall being unforeseen at the time, Williams continued:
“He owns all these beauty pageantsโMiss America, Miss Universe. Isnโt that like Michael Vick owning a pet store?”
This referred to the NFL player Michael Vick, who had been incarcerated in 2007 for operating a dog fighting ring, only to restart his football career with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Williams didn’t stop there. Addressing Trump’s shocking comment about his daughter, he added, “Even people in Arkansas went, ‘That’s f**king wrong. That’s just way out of line.’”

He humorously shifted to Trump’s infamous hairstyle: “And that f**king hair.” Using his hand to mimic it, he joked, “I believe the hair is the Donald. The body is just there to maintain the hair. He gets home at night, and the hair says, ‘We’re home.’”
The footage has resurfaced on Reddit and is being praised by many as “eerily accurate” and “kind of profound.”
Viewers have also shared how much they miss Williams, reflecting on his brilliance and the emotional depth he offered.

โHeโll always be remembered and loved by future generations through the incredible work he left behind,” someone expressed.
Another chimed in: โOne of the funniest and most heartfelt humans to ever live.โ
