Rod Stewart in tears, broke the news

Rod Stewart broke the news two months after the death of their eldest brother Don that their younger brother Bob had also passed away. Bob Stewart was two months younger than Don.

The musician, who is 77 years old, revealed the information on social media on Wednesday, the day the announcement was made.

He changed a picture of a candle and added the words “Rest in Peace” to the final frame of the image so that he could deliver the unfortunate news to his viewers.

“It is with tremendous grief that I announce the loss of my brother Bob last night, who joins my brother Don on the vast football pitch in the sky,” he began his post on Facebook. “It is with great anguish that I announce the loss of my brother Don yesterday night.” It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you that my brother Don passed away unexpectedly last night.

“Over the course of the past two months, I’ve had to say farewell to two of my dearest friends. Don and Bob, two friends who will never be forgotten, rest in peace knowing you were irreplaceable.

The decedent’s followers and friends have been quick to share their condolences and well wishes with the community at large.

The news that Stewart’s oldest brother, Don, had passed away in September came just two days before the announcement that Queen Elizabeth II had also left this world.

On her Instagram account, the singer of “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?” shared an image of the royal crown logo and penned the following caption below it: “It has been a dreadful 48 hours. On Tuesday, we said our final goodbyes to my brother Don, who lived to the ripe old age of 94; today, we said our final goodbyes to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, who lived to the ripe old age of 96.
