Sad news about Brad Pitt – The announcement was made by the actor himself

Pitt, who began acting in 1987, says he now thinks carefully about future projects and what his life will hold moving forward.

The actor, who has noticeably taken a step back from his leading man status in recent years, says he considers himself “on the last leg” of his career.

“This last semester or trimester. What is this section gonna be? And how do I wanna design that?” he told GQ Magazine.

“I am one of those beings who communicates through art. I just want to keep making. “If I don’t make, I’ll die in some way.”

Quentin Tarantino, Pitt’s director for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, warns that when the Oscar-winning actor retires, Hollywood will lose “one of the last remaining big-screen movie stars”.

“It’s simply a different kind of man. “And frankly, I don’t think you can describe exactly what that is because it’s like describing starshine,” Tarantino told the magazine.

The actor now appears to be spending more time behind the camera with his production company Plan B Entertainment which has produced films including 12 Years a Slave, Eat Play Love and World War Z.

Since the interview, fans have been reacting to Pitt’s “devastating” career announcement.

“I will die a little inside when Brad Pitt retires,” one fan tweeted.

“We will miss you immensely but we/I want you to be happy.,” another woman remarked.

“Devastating, can’t be true,” a comment said.

Among Pitt’s best-known movies are Fight Club, Oceans Eleven and Mr and Mrs Smith – the film where he met his ex-wife Jolie.

‘Hearts are broken’

Pitt and Jolie married in 2014, 10 years after meeting on set, and together have six children.

They divorced and were declared legally single in 2019.

Pitt stated, “I think all of our hearts are broken” at the time.

He went on to talk about loneliness being a recurring issue in his life.

“I always felt very alone in my life, alone growing up as a kid, alone even out here, and it’s really not ’til recently that I have had a greater embrace of my friends and family,” remarked Pitt.

The father of six explained that after his divorce, he prioritized his health by stopping smoking and attending Alcoholics Anonymous.

Pitt admitted that during COVID-19, he completely quit smoking, stating that his disposition does not allow for moderation.

“I don’t have that ability to do just one or two a day,” he told the publication.

“It isn’t in my makeup. I am all in. And I am going to drive into the earth. “I have lost my privileges,” he told the publication.
