According to recent reports, Patrick Stone, the younger brother of Sharon Stone, has passed away at the age of 57, two years after the passing of his son, River.
The Hollywood star’s sibling lost their fight with heart illness early on Sunday morning and passed away shortly after. According to TMZ, the cause of his death is being investigated as “sudden cardiac death” by the local coroner’s office.
According to the publication, Patrick’s wife Tasha released a statement in which she broke the terrible news to the public. “My chest is aching, and it feels as though someone has yanked my heart out of it. Patrick departed this life to be with our beloved River… He was my entire world, and I don’t know what else to say about him “— I quote her.
“I have no idea what my life is going to be like without my spouse by my side, and to tell you the truth, I don’t want to find out. Nevertheless, I will of course find out. I only want to express the hope that you would never leave my side and keep a watchful eye on Hunter, Kaylee, and me.”
She went on to say that “I will always keep you and all of our amazing (and some not so wonderful, but just as important) memories near to my heart, and I will always visit those memories. Until the day that we meet again, I will always visit those memories. I adore you, sweetheart. I love you. My prayer is that despite everything, River is able to spend some quality time with his father, River and that the two of you are enjoying yourselves to the fullest.”
Tragically, the couple’s young boy River went away when he was only 11 months old in the year 2021.
The announcement was made by Sharon in the form of an Instagram post at the time. She then attached a caption to the video that stated, “River William Stone September 8, 2020 – August 30, 2021,” which was accompanied by a beautiful clip of River having fun in his crib.
Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton was used as the score for the devastating video that was created by Sharon, who also has two other siblings named Michael and Kelly.
The heartbreaking report of Patrick’s passing arrives not long after Sharon provided an update on the condition of her mother, Dorothy Stone, who was 90 years old and is now 16 months removed from having a stroke.
