Snoop Dogg has plenty to celebrate in the coming weeks.
The 53-year-old rapper, who recently hosted the TIME100 Gala, took some time to talk to E! News about his newborn baby granddaughter while walking the event’s red carpet.
“That’s my baby, Tiny C,” Snoop Dogg said of his daughter Cori Broadus, 25, who was just 25 weeks pregnant when she gave birth to her daughter in late-February.
“She just brought home my granddaughter,” the rapper added.
Broadus had previously opened up about having to love her daughter from a distance during the little one’s stay in the NICU — where she stayed for nearly two months.
“I used to have to look at pictures of her and like Zoom and see her in the NICU,” Broadus said during a recent appearance on the “JST Us” podcast, released April 13.
“Just seeing her like that breaks my heart and I think I really felt like I failed her… like me being your mommy I couldn’t even give you what you needed,” Broadus continued.
Her comments echoed what she wrote in her Feb. 28 Instagram post revealing her daughter’s arrival.
In the caption, Broadus — who shares her little girl with her fiancé Wayne Deuce, per Today — confirmed that her baby was born at six months old.
“I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself because I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed,” she wrote. “But no matter what God always shows me that He got me!”
Despite being born premature, Broadus said her baby girl was “perfect as ever.”

While talking to E! News at the TIME100 Gala, Snoop Dogg was asked what’s next now that his daughter’s little girl is home — especially with Mother’s Day just a few weeks away.
“Hopefully we’re gonna do something special,” he told the outlet.
“You know what we do, we spontaneous in my house,” he continued. “What we try to do is keep love in the air seven days a week. So, no matter if it’s Mother’s Day or not, we always got love in there.”
With the birth of his newest grandchild, Snoop Dogg now has a grand-brood of eight to brag about.
In addition to his youngest Cori, the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper shares two sons — Cordé, 30, and Cordell, 28 — with his wife Shante Broadus and a son Julian, 26, with Laurie Helmond, per People.
Cordé was the first to make his father a grandfather.
The rapper shares four kids with his wife Soraya Love — Elleven Love, 6, Kai Love, who died 10 days after being born in 2019, and Sky Love, 4 — and an older son Zion Kalvin, 10, with ex Jessica Kyzer.
Cordell added another three kids to the mix with his wife, Phia. The couple share daughters Cordoba Journey, 6, Chateau, 4, and Symphony Sol, born in 2023.
