Snoop Dogg’s Daughter, Mourns Death Of Daughter

Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus, has announced the heartbreaking death of her baby daughter, Codi Dreaux. She was 10 months old.

Cori, 26, shared the devastating news on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, Jan. 31, posting a black-and-white photo of herself smiling as she held her infant. “Monday I lost the love of my life. My Codi,” she wrote across the image, alongside an angel-wing emoji.

Her fiancé, Wayne Deuce, also paid tribute, sharing a series of photos of their daughter on his own Instagram Stories.

Cori — the youngest child and only daughter of Snoop Dogg — previously revealed that Codi was born prematurely. In a February 2025 Instagram post announcing her daughter’s arrival, Cori shared that the baby had been born three months early.

“The princess arrived at 6 months,” she wrote at the time, alongside a black-and-white photo of her newborn’s tiny foot, per People.

Per People, Cori also shared additional details in an Instagram Stories post published the same day, revealing that she delivered her baby via C-section after doctors informed her she was developing HELLP syndrome — a serious pregnancy complication characterized by the breakdown of red blood cells, elevated liver enzymes, and dangerously low platelet levels.

Codi spent her first 10 months in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Cori later shared that she was finally able to bring her baby home in early January.

Cori first announced she was expecting a daughter in December 2024. At the time, she told E! News that her pregnancy was considered high risk and that doctors had ongoing concerns about complications.

Cori Broadus is a singer, entrepreneur, and health advocate best known as the youngest child and only daughter of rap icon Snoop Dogg. Born on June 22, 1999, Cori was diagnosed with lupus at a young age, a condition that has shaped both her personal life and public mission.

She has been open about her health journey, using social media to raise awareness about lupus, mental health, and self-acceptance. Cori has also pursued music under the stage name CHOC, releasing songs that reflect her experiences, resilience, and emotional honesty.
