Stephen “tWitch” Boss’s grandfather confesses what happened

There were ‘no signals’ that the dancer was struggling in the weeks leading up to his passing, according to Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss’ grieving grandpa.

At about 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, the 40-year-old was discovered dead in a room at the Oak Tree Motel in Los Angeles, which is 15 minutes walk from his home.

Prior to his passing, he sent his grandfather a “I love you Dad-Dad” text message and posted a birthday greeting to him on social media four days earlier.

According to Eddy Boss, 84, there were no indications of stress in the weeks or months before his death, which he exclusively revealed to DailyMail.com.

Regarding the former producer of the Ellen Show, he stated: “We chatted as recently as Saturday on a number of occasions.

He was the same upbeat individual he has always been. We had no reason to believe that anything was unusual.

He was a really modest, giving person. He made life brighter for everyone. Right now, we’re really devastated.

“All I can say is that he was a beautiful person who made a lot of positive contributions to our world and to everyone he encountered. We mourn him terribly and are in excruciating pain.

Eddy, who made the trip to be with the family from Arizona, is advising others to be alert for warning signs in their loved ones.

Every word has a meaning, he said. I received a short text message from him that simply read, “I love you, Dad-Dad.” We want to know, why? What was its source?

Even though the LAPD acknowledged that his grandson died from a “self-inflicted gunshot wound,” Eddy claimed he was still “not sure” that his death was a suicide.

The LA County Coroner’s Office has been given the case, according to a police spokeswoman.

Three days prior to shooting himself in the head, Boss and his 34-year-old wife Allison Holker had celebrated their first anniversary.

Three days prior to shooting himself in the head, Boss and his 34-year-old wife Allison Holker had celebrated their first anniversary.

According to a sign on the family’s front lawn, daughter Weslie is scheduled to attend Notre Dame University with the class of 2026, therefore the suicide has cast a shadow over her promising future.

She also participates in modeling for athletic gear and is a young influencer for companies like her parents’ Dick’s Sporting Goods. She also plays soccer for her school’s soccer squad.

He was described as her “family” and “pure love and light” by Ellen DeGeneres, who also expressed her heartbreak.

The actress declared, “I shall miss him. Please send Allison and his adorable kids Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia some love and support.

A maid who was checking on the DJ’s welfare when he didn’t check out on time, according to motel personnel who spoke to DailyMail.com, found his dead.

They claimed that he checked into the motel on Monday under his own name and that he was not found until Tuesday morning.

Workers described the situation as “very awful” and claimed that the man “shot himself in the head,” but no one heard the gunfire.

He left the house on Monday without his car, and when he didn’t come home by Tuesday — vanished over night — his wife hurried to report him missing.

Rakesh, the manager of the Oak Tree Inn, said: “He entered his room and never came out.” Tuesday around 11:15 a.m., the maid came to check on the room.

There was no one there, but there was his stuff. When she looked in the restroom, she discovered blood all over.

She was terrified. This is the first time that has ever occurred here. The 911 operator instructed us to check his pulse, but there was none when we did.

He was declared dead when the police and paramedics arrived. Maybe he did it on Monday throughout the day. It’s possible that no one heard it because of the noisy, congested traffic outside.

Boss checked if rooms were still available by calling ahead on Monday at around 9.20am. He then strolled the few blocks from his home, appearing “perfectly normal” and “calm.”

A professional dancer named Allison and Boss were married in 2013 and now co-host “Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings” on Disney +.

He began working on Ellen’s show in 2014 and continued until 2022, when he was promoted to executive producer.

Together, the couple has three children: Weslie, 14; Maddox, 6; and Zaia, 3.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that I must disclose that my husband Stephen has left us, Allison stated in a statement to People.

Stephen brought light into every space he entered. Above all else, he treasured his family, friends, and community. He believed that the best way to lead was to lead with love and light.

He served as the foundation of our family, was the best husband and father, and served as an example to his followers.

“To say he left a legacy is an understatement, and his beneficial influence will endure.

There won’t be a day that goes by that we don’t remember him, I’m positive of that. During this trying time for myself and especially for our three children, we kindly request your privacy.

We will always keep the last dance for you, Stephen, and we love and miss you.

His loss occurs just a few months after Ellen paid tribute to her ex-partner Anne Heche, who died after ramming her car into a home in Los Angeles while under the influence of cocaine. She was trapped in the raging blaze for 45 minutes before succumbing to her injuries in the hospital.

Since there were no indications of “foul play,” an LAPD spokeswoman told DailyMail.com that the LA County Coroner’s office was handling the issue.

In a statement to People, Allison paid tribute to her husband and said: “It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to convey that my husband Stephen has left us.”

When Boss was last seen in public in September, he acknowledged that he had missed the Ellen program, which he claimed “left its mark on history.”

“Life has been fantastic man,” he continued. Since the kids started school again, we’ve been spending a lot more time at home. Man, life is beautiful.

There won’t ever be another show like that. It left a lasting impression on history and was one of the best spots to spend an afternoon.

Two days prior to his passing, the pair shared a video of a beginner’s dance cardio workout on their YouTube page. In the video, they both looked joyful.

Boss debuted on the program as a DJ after getting her start in the entertainment industry on MTV’s The Wade Robson Project. She later finished second on Star Search.

He later competed on the dance competition “So You Think You Can Dance,” finishing in second place, and later returned as an All-Star and judge in 2022.

Just two days before he passed away, the talented dancer uploaded a video of himself and his wife dancing in front of their Christmas tree.

Andy Lassner, a former executive producer of the Ellen shows, paid tribute to Boss by writing, “Rest, my friend,” and including a photo of the three of them with DeGeneres.

The final edition of the Ellen show, which aired on May 26, was cancelled earlier this year after allegations of bullying and a “toxic environment.”

At the very end of the episode, Boss defended Ellen when she was criticized for the workplace environment at her talk show.

We aren’t allowed to say too much about it legally, but I’ll say this: there has been love, he told US Weekly.

There are undoubtedly certain issues to address, but from my perspective and that of countless others, there has been love.

I’ll just leave it at that until a moment comes when we can talk about it more openly. Love has existed and will exist in the future.

At least 10 current and former staffers of the long-running talk show The Ellen Show made allegations of racism and bullying in 2020.

The program, which aired from 2003 to 2022, has a reputation for being charitable and frequently promoting the motto “Be Kind.”

However, employees who were directly involved in the day-to-day activities of production claimed that the humanitarian undertakings and sloganeering were “all for show.”

Employees blamed the executive producers of the program primarily, but stated Ellen was not actively involved enough to monitor what was happening on her own show.

DeGeneres stated in an interview given months after the initial allegations that the attacks on her “did feel very nasty.”

It was traumatic. I have a good heart. She added, “I am a person who likes to make others happy, and I understand how some people, even some of my followers, would start to think the charges about my personal behavior are real.
