Sydney Sweeney (27) and her fiancé, Jonathan Davino (41), have recently hit a rough patch in their relationship, a source exclusively reveals to Us Weekly.
“Sydney and Jonathan have been having major issues but are not fully split,” the insider told Us Weekly. “Things are not great right now, but they aren’t throwing in the towel yet. They are working on their relationship but have called off the wedding for now.”

The couple began their relationship in 2018 and got engaged four years later. However, according to a source, all plans for their upcoming wedding have come to a standstill. The couple had intended to tie the knot this spring, but the wedding has been called off, and there are reportedly no ongoing discussions about rescheduling. Sweeney is said to have decided to cancel everything due to feeling overwhelmed by the stress.

The source also shared with Us Weekly that many of the challenges between Sweeney and Davino stem from the actress’s demanding production schedule.
“A lot of their issues stem from Sydney being extremely busy with work commitments,” the source said. “She doesn’t have a lot of downtime, and it causes tension in their relationship. Sydney is really focused on her career. Jonathan wishes they were able to spend more quality time together.”
Sweeney’s intense focus on her current film and TV projects has reportedly led to tension with Davino, according to an insider.
Another source shared that the couple hit a “rough patch” in March 2024, largely due to her packed filming schedule, which kept them apart for extended stretches.
The other source said “Things are also always tense between them when she is promoting a movie because she has to give her full attention to the project, and people always speculate about their relationship and Sydney being close to her costars. It’s a tough dynamic for Jonathan.”
Sweeney starred alongside Glen Powell in the 2023 romantic comedy Anyone But You. Behind-the-scenes cast photos later fueled speculation about a possible affair—rumors both Sweeney and Powell, 36, strongly denied. At the time, Powell was in a relationship with model Gigi Paris. Notably, Sweeney and Davino also served as co-producers on the film.
