More tragic news has come to light while Tammy Slaton attempts to turn her life around. Many people have followed Slaton’s life on TLC’s 1000-Lb. Sisters.
Sadly, the most recent episode has revealed the trauma she had endured while in rehab. Tammy has been seeking treatment for weight-related health issues.
However, while in treatment, Slaton’s home was broken into. As the sneak peek of the episode showed, the house was nearly completely ransacked.
As the clip reveals, it was Slaton’s sisters, Amanda and Misty, who stumbled upon the robbery as they were picking up a few things Tammy had asked for while she was in rehab. “Girl, all of her stuff is gone!” Amanda exclaimed in the clip. “Oh, this is some bulls–t. Hold on, I’m going to take a video of this s–t real quick.”
Both Amanda and Misty were flabbergasted by just how much stuff was stolen from Tammy’s home.
“The fridge was over here. The table was here. The kitchen sink’s gone. The bathroom sink. The water heater’s missing. Her dresser that was in here was gone with the rest of the clothes and sh-t that was in it.”
Amanda and Misty then began to grow concerned about what this will do to Tammy when she finds out. They didn’t want this tragedy to derail her recovery.
“What the hell is she coming home to? There’s nothing there. I don’t even know if I want her to go home there anymore,” the sisters admitted. Prior to telling Tammy the news, the sisters filed a police report on her behavior.
“I’m nervous about telling Tammy, ‘Girl, all your stuff’s gone, and your house has been robbed,’” Amanda says. “It’s definitely devastating for Tammy because she loves her home. She loves having her own place to call her own.”
“At this point, she doesn’t have anything that’s hers. Just the clothes that she took with her. She doesn’t even have a place at this point, and all she wants to do is come home.”
Devastating. We couldn’t imagine that feeling!
