Top FBI Official Claims New Details on Epstein Investigation

News about Jeffrey Epstein’s death has continued to evoke concern and curiosity. Epstein, the disgraced billionaire, took his own life in a federal prison cell while he awaited trial, and ever since, the details surrounding his death have prompted endless speculation. Even public figures like former President Trump have been vocal, urging the Justice Department to release grand jury testimonies related to Epstein’s case.

The FBI has responded to the surging number of conspiracy theories. Their Deputy Director, Dan Bongino, spoke with Fox News to provide some clarity. He stated that the FBI has surveillance footage from the night Epstein passed away, which indicates that his death was indeed a suicide. Furthermore, Bongino shared that the FBI is currently examining “tens of thousands of videos” linked to Epstein, involving children and child pornography, with “hundreds of victims” recognized in these materials. Importantly, he pointed out that no incriminating “client list” has been found.

“The extensive review we conducted revealed no such ‘client list’ from Epstein’s dealings. Nor did we find any evidence that Epstein had engaged in blackmailing prominent individuals,” Bongino elaborated.

Bongino urged the public to be patient as the agency works through the large volumes of evidence. According to sources from the Wall Street Journal, in May, Bongino informed former President Donald Trump that his name appeared in the Epstein files. However, it’s the administration’s standpoint to withhold these files due to concerns that they might contain evidence of child sexual abuse.

Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Trump and Epstein, along with British socialite Ghislaine Maxwellโ€”who is serving a 20-year prison sentence for her involvement in Epstein’s crimesโ€”were known to be close friends.

According to sources from the Independent, Maxwell is appealing her conviction. Renowned attorney Alan Dershowitz asserted she’s prepared to testify before Congress, provided she’s granted immunity. “She knows everything,” Dershowitz mentioned on Fox News Sunday. He described her as the “Rosetta Stone” of Epstein’s case, emphasizing that she could clarify every single interaction Epstein had. “If given use immunity, she’d be more than willing to testify without holding back any information,” Dershowitz added.

As for Trump, he currently faces no criminal charges. His mention within the Epstein files is not necessarily an implication of his involvement in any illegal activities pertaining to Epstein’s child sex trafficking.

Some suggest Ghislaine Maxwell has been forthcoming in her statements, potentially to secure a presidential pardon. In response to such speculation, Trump remarked that while he has the authority to grant a pardon, it is not something he has contemplated.

Bongino has shared how deeply unsettling some of the facts uncovered during the Epstein investigation were. As reported by The Mail, he spoke candidly about how learning certain information “shocked” him to his core. “We just can’t function as a Republic under such circumstances. I can’t unlearn what I now know,” he reflected.

He assured that the investigations would be conducted with integrity, fully compliant with legal standards, concluding with “answers that we all deserve.” His words have led many to anticipate more substantial revelations in the near future.

He alluded to upcoming disclosures concerning the Epstein case, notably hinting, “Thereโ€™s more to come soon.” Revealing that video evidence exists regarding Epsteinโ€™s death, Bongino emphasized this was information the public had yet to learn.

He expressed commitment to pursuing the truth above all else. “As is typical in any major investigation, the conclusion is unpredictable, but you have my word on a diligent and straightforward pursuit of the truth,” Bongino stated. He also referred vaguely to newfound concerns about government misuses and corruption.
