Travis Barker and a Still-Pregnant Kourtney Kardashian Photographed Leaving a Hospital in Los Angeles Following ‘Urgent Family Matter’

Although neither Kourtney nor Travis have spoken out about the urgent family matter, a source has told tells People that Kourtney is “back home now with her kids,” adding: “She is feeling better. She is happy to have Travis back home too.”

On Friday (September 1), fans of Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian were sent into panic mode when the former was forced to postpone several Blink-182 tour dates in the United Kingdom due to an ‘urgent family matter.’ It was unclear what the family emergency was and details have yet to be disclosed.

The news broke in the wee hours of the morning as Barker traveled from Glasgow, Scotland to Los Angeles to be with his wife. On Saturday (September 2), new photographs showed the couple walking out of a medical center in the LA area – both of whom looked somber as they made their way to a black SUV.

In the photos, Kourtney was wearing a gray long-sleeved shirt with matching grey pants and gray New Balance shoes. She was still very much pregnant – she’s due sometime between October and December – and was walking on her own. At this point, that’s one positive to take away from this whole situation.

Fans started to grow concerned when Travis Barker posted three photos of him visiting a prayer room inside the Glasgow Airport on Friday night – without context. The photos were of the front door of the prayer room, as well as a stained glass monument and a ‘Together We Pray’ flag from inside the room.

Around that same time, Barker’s popular band (Blink-182) revealed that they were postponing four tour dates in the UK area. They were scheduled to perform at OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland on Sept. 1 and 2, the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Sept. 4, and 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland on Sept. 4.

“Due to an urgent family matter, Travis has had to return home to the States. The Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin shows are being postponed. More information in regards to his return to Europe and rescheduled dates will be provided as soon as available,” the band wrote on their official social media accounts.

Once news of the ‘urgent family matter’ went viral, many people alluded to the fact that Kourtney was pregnant – let’s be honest, we were all hoping she and the baby were okay. While it’s still unclear what the emergency was regarding, it’s good to see the couple leaving the hospital on their own two feet.

When Blink-182 postponed those four shows on Saturday, we knew this was a serious matter – and so did Shanna Moakler, the ex-wife of Travis Barker. She immediately spoke with photographers in Los Angeles on Friday and, while she didn’t have any details to share, she did say she was praying for them.

“I don’t know what’s going on, I just know that our kids are safe and sound — obviously that’s important to me,” she said to photographers. “Obviously, whenever they have to cancel shows, it’s a really big deal. I’m just praying that his immediate family — and the baby and Kourtney and everyone — is safe and OK.”

Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler started dating in 2002, got engaged at Disneyland in 2003, and got married on October 30, 2004. They split in 2006 and finalized their divorce in 2008. They share three children together – Landon, 19, Alabama, 17, and Atiana, 24 – the latter of whom is Travis’ stepdaughter.

In 2021, Travis Barker started dating Kourtney Kardashian. They got engaged later that year and tied the knot (unofficially) in March 2023 before legally getting married in May. Kourtney – who shares three children with ex-partner Scott Disick – is currently pregnant with her and Travis’ first child together.
