Travis Barker Posts Photos of a Prayer Room Hours Before His Band Postponed Several Tour Dates Due to an ‘Urgent Family Matter’

Fans are sending their thoughts and prayers to Travis Barker, who was forced to leave his Blink-182 tour due to an ‘urgent family matter.’ The unknown emergency was revealed by the band in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), at 4:00 a.m. PT on Friday (September 1). Details have yet to be disclosed.

“Due to an urgent family matter, Travis has had to return home to the States. The Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin shows are being postponed. More information in regards to his return to Europe and rescheduled dates will be provided as soon as available,” the band wrote on X – it has been viewed 568,000 times.

It’s unclear what the family emergency is regarding and how serious the emergency is, but many fans are starting to worry about his wife, Kourtney Kardashian – who revealed her pregnancy at a Blink-182 concert in June and is currently expected to give birth to their first child (a son) in October-December.

The post by Blink-182 came roughly five hours after Travis Barker took to his Instagram Story to share three photos of a prayer room at the Glasgow International Airport in Scotland – about 9 miles from the OVO Hydro venue, where the band was scheduled to perform on Friday (Sept. 1) and Saturday (Sept. 2).

The first photo was of the front door of the prayer room, while the second photo was of a massive stained glass display inside the room – a third photo showed a flag that read ‘Together We Pray’ hanging on one of the walls of the prayer room. We don’t know what we’re praying for, but we hope everything is okay!

In addition to Friday’s and Saturday’s tour dates in Glasgow being postponed, Blink-182 – which Travis Barker is the drummer of – has also postponed their tour dates in Belfast, Northern Ireland (at SSE Arena) on Monday (September 4) and in Dublin, Ireland (at 3Arena) on Tuesday (September 5).

The band’s next scheduled performance is on Friday (September 8) at the Antwerps Sportpaleis in Antwerpen, Belgium. We’ll keep you updated if any more tour dates get canceled in the near future.

Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian started dating in 2021 and tied the knot on May 22, 2023. In addition to their incoming son, Barker is a father to three children with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler. Kardashian shares three children of her own with her ex-partner Scott Disick
