Curiosity Surrounds Trump’s Hand
As Donald Trump took the stage at the World Economic Forum, much of the discussion was centered around his long speeches and comments about tariffs. However, another topic caught the public’s eye – a noticeable bruise on his hand.

Photographs from a signing ceremony in Davos began circulating, leading to a flurry of questions on social media about the origin of the mark on Trumpโs hand. With questions mounting, the White House provided a direct response.
Trump’s Lighthearted Explanation
Donald Trump addressed the speculation when speaking aboard Air Force One. He shared with CNN that the bruise was the result of a minor incident, where he accidentally struck his hand on a table. To soothe the area, he applied some cream.
Support from the White House

Backing up Trump’s explanation, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt spoke to Fox News. She confirmed that the president’s hand struck the corner of the signing table, which led to the visible mark.
A White House official added further context, explaining that Trumpโs daily aspirin regimen can make bruising more likely. This detail was previously shared by his doctors. The official noted that the bruise was not visible earlier that day.
Questions and Reassurances
The straightforward explanation did not completely quell speculation online. While some expressed disbelief at how such a bruise might occur during a signing, others were quick to defend the president, noting that bruising can happen more frequently with age.
Trump’s Continued Aspirin Use
Trump expanded on this, sharing that although it’s unnecessary, he takes a higher aspirin dose as a heart health precaution. The incident piqued interest in Trumpโs health yet again, especially after earlier instances where he appeared to hide his hand or undergo medical scans. Despite renewed curiosity, the White House insists there is no reason for concern.
