Donald Trump had a short, six-word reaction when approached about recently uncovered photos and videos that delve deeper into his past connections with Jeffrey Epstein.

During his presidential campaign, Trump indicated a willingness to release documents related to Epstein, who is a convicted sex offender, should he take office.
Earlier in 2025, Attorney General Pamela Bondi took a step in this direction by releasing what she described as the โinitial phaseโ of declassified materials concerning Epstein.
However, by July, the Department of Justice announced it found โno basisโ for releasing further records.
The DOJ’s report also stated that no damning โclient listโ was found, only increasing online speculation.
Trumpโs critics have accused him of keeping important information about his links to Epstein under wraps, especially after his dismissive reply to an inquiry: “Are people still talking about this guy? This creep? That is unbelievable.”

Even though Trump later vowed to release grand jury materials linked to Epstein, he dodged questions about recently found photos from 1993.
CNNโs KFile discovered unseen media that revealed Epstein attended Trumpโs second marriage to Marla Maples, confirming this for the first time.
Further footage depicts Trump and Epstein seemingly chatting and laughing at a 1999 Victoria’s Secret fashion show in New York.
Photographer Dafydd Jones recalls getting a glimpse of Epstein at Trump’s wedding in 1993.
Jones mentioned that he had seen Epstein before, likely recognizing him during the wedding. He also took pictures of them together at the Harley Davidson Cafรฉ in New York a month before the big day.
โI wish now I took more of him with Trump,โ Jones confessed, noting that the negatives from the wedding were lost, leaving only contact sheet images.
When questioned by CNN about the images, Trump scoffed, replying, “Youโve got to be kidding me.”

Steven Cheung, the White House Communications Director, explained further that the photos were “out-of-context frame grabs” captured at grand, public gatherings.
He pointed out that Trump had severed ties with Epstein a long time ago. โIn reality, the President ousted him from his club for being a creep,โ Cheung declared, accusing Democrats and the media of manipulating the situation to spread further false stories.
Trump and Epstein were known for socializing in the 1980s and 1990s, showing up at various prominent events.
Nonetheless, reports suggest their friendship turned sour in the 2000s after a falling-out over a luxury property deal in Palm Beach.
