His prostate began to trouble him as he was healing from knee surgery, which eventually led to the discovery of cancer. In his straightforward manner, Braeden explained, “During the knee surgery recovery, my prostate started causing problems. I’m sharing this because other men might find it helpful to hear—it could happen to them too.” This spirit of openness is something his fans have come to love over the years.
Fortunately, Braeden underwent a UroLift procedure to tackle benign prostatic hyperplasia, and soon after, the medical team addressed the cancer. Currently, he is undergoing a six-week regimen of immunotherapy, reporting that while he’s feeling a bit under the weather, it isn’t anything too severe. “I’ve learned to listen to my body and pace myself,” he shared.
Despite these challenges, Braeden remains upbeat and determined. “I’m going to beat this. It’s not going to get the better of me,” he declared with his trademark resolve.
