White House Responds to Mark Ruffalo’s Bold Claims About Vance and Trump

The White House Addresses Mark Ruffalo’s Statements on JD Vance and Donald Trump

During the recent Golden Globes event, actor Mark Ruffalo shared his thoughts with USA Today while wearing a unique “BE GOOD” pin.

Ruffalo explained, “This is in memory of Renee Nicole Good, who tragically lost her life.”

Renee Nicole Good was a 37-year-old woman who died after an incident involving ICE officer Jonathan Ross in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on January 7.

During law enforcement activities in Good’s neighborhood, a confrontation occurred. Video footage shows Good seated in her car when an officer attempted to open her door. When Good tried to drive away, Ross reacted by firing his weapon.

Ruffalo and Other Celebrities Honor Good’s Memory with Distinctive Pins

In response to the tragic circumstances surrounding Good’s death, Ruffalo and other celebrities donned “BE GOOD” pins at the awards ceremony.

The Department of Homeland Security supported the ICE officer, asserting that Good attempted to use her car as a weapon, justifying Ross’s actions.

Speaking about the significance of his pin, Ruffalo critiqued Vice President JD Vance, claiming Vance is “misleading the public about current affairs.”

Ruffalo then shifted his attention to Trump: “The situation with Venezuela is troubling because it was entered into unlawfully. Trump’s stance suggests he doesn’t value international law.”

“His Judgment Seems Self-Centered, Yet His Past Is Troubling,” Ruffalo Remarked

Ruffalo made further claims by stating, “He is the worst type of person. If the most powerful nation on earth bases its morality on this man, we’re in serious peril.”

It’s pertinent to note that in May 2024, Trump faced multiple felony charges for falsifying business documents, as reported by The Independent. Additionally, a jury found him liable for sexual abuse in a civil case with E. Jean Carroll, dating back to 1996, which was not a criminal conviction.

Trump has not faced charges related to any sexual offenses, including the accusations of pedophilia.

In response to Ruffalo’s comments, Steven Cheung, Assistant to the President and White House Director of Communications, voiced his thoughts.

In a Twitter post referencing a Page Six article regarding Ruffalo and other celebrities criticizing ICE, Cheung stated: “Mark Ruffalo, despite his fame from She-Hulk, remains among the weakest actors in Hollywood.”

He continued, “Not only does his on-screen presence falter, but his penchant for spreading misinformation is evident. It might stem from a personal disdain, perhaps for subjecting viewers to his unsatisfactory performances.”
