Among the many children of Donald Trump, some often appear in the public eye, while others prefer to stay away from the limelight. Tiffany Trump falls into the latter category. Now 31 and a graduate of Georgetown, Tiffany has carved out her unique path. With a family of her own, she’s living life on her terms. However, her father once mentioned being proud of her to a ‘lesser extent.’ Recently, as Tiffany and her husband are preparing to welcome a baby boy, she celebrated a baby shower. Notably absent from the event was an important figure in her life: Melania Trump.

Tiffany has generally kept a lower profile compared to her other siblings. Considering some of Donald Trump’s past statements, it’s reasonable to assume that she may not be the heir apparent of his business empire. Not that Tiffany is overly concerned with such matters, having demonstrated her independence throughout her adult years.
Back when Tiffany was born, her half-siblings—Eric, Donald Jr., and Ivanka—were enduring personal turmoil due to their parents’ very public divorce. The eldest, Donald Trump Jr., recalled the challenging time:
“At 12, you’re in a world where you think you know it all,” Trump Jr. said. “It’s hard being driven to school, seeing headlines like ‘THE BEST SEX I EVER HAD!’ when you don’t even understand what they mean.”
Amidst the challenges, Donald Trump fought for the custody of his kids. However, he soon married his fourth wife, Marla Maples, and welcomed Tiffany on October 13, 1993, in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The Journey of Tiffany Trump
By the time Tiffany was 9, Donald and Marla had separated. Marla reflected on their relationship, admitting to Access Hollywood:
“We were different, but you hope to bring out the best in each other in a marriage. Eventually, we realized that wasn’t the case.”
Having signed a prenup, Marla faced financial challenges post-divorce. Vanity Fair reported that Trump aimed to secure his wealth, offering no more than $1 million to Marla if they split within five years, along with funds for a house and eventual ending of child support when Tiffany turned 21, unless certain conditions were met earlier.
Post-divorce, Marla and Tiffany took a step away from the spotlight, relocating to Calabasas, near Los Angeles. Tiffany was primarily raised by her mother and studied at the prestigious Viewpoint School.
Tiffany’s Education and Early Life
In Calabasas, they mingled with the likes of the Kardashians. While Marla pursued acting, Tiffany ventured into music, releasing the single ‘Like a Bird’ featuring Sprite and Logic. Ultimately, Tiffany prioritized her education, seeking admission into a good college.
Even amid parental tension, Tiffany maintained good ties with her half-siblings. Ivanka Trump once secured Tiffany an internship with Vogue, speaking fondly of her: “We’ve been close all our lives, and I adore her.”
Following in family footsteps, Tiffany attended the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 2016. She then briefly ventured into her father’s presidential campaign, attending the 2016 Republican National Convention and giving a speech:
“I’ve taken on challenges like my father, and here I am at the convention, honored to stand by a man America is discerning to know.”
Tiffany’s Role in the 2016 Election
Post-campaign, Tiffany explored law schools, ultimately choosing Georgetown in Washington, D.C. By 2020, she had earned her law degree. Her father, Donald Trump, proudly tweeted her achievement, “Great student, great school… glad to have a lawyer in the family!”
Yet, Tiffany’s relationship with her father has reportedly been distant compared to her siblings. In a 2004 interview, Trump described Tiffany in a rather detached manner:
“I have another daughter, Tiffany, who is great but separate. When wives are separate, so are the kids. Ivana and Marla were good women, but their relationships with me were complex, given my commitment to my business.”
Marla reaffirmed the unique complexities of Trump’s lifestyle, noting how the family respected his business priorities, though they longed for more attention. She recognized this reality with Tiffany as well, even during events where many fathers would be present.
Donald Trump’s Perception of Tiffany
On the 2016 election day, Donald himself remarked on Tiffany, expressing pride “to a lesser extent,” acknowledging her recent graduation but noting the hard work of his other children.
Despite her efforts in the 2017 Presidential Election, Tiffany’s relationship with her father reportedly deteriorated during his presidency, often going months without contact.
Melania Trump’s Absence at Tiffany’s Baby Shower
When Tiffany was young, her father introduced a new romantic interest—Melania. The pair reportedly maintained a warm relationship, with several appearances together, including a memorable day at the U.S. Open.
Tiffany happily married Michael Boulos, whom she met at a beach club in Mykonos, Greece. They married at the Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach in November 2022, with her father proudly walking her down the aisle.
As the couple now expects a child, Tiffany celebrated her baby shower, disclosing on Instagram they’re having a boy: “A beautiful day celebrating our soon-to-arrive son. Just a month to go!” Ivanka Trump attended the event, praising Tiffany’s mothering potential on social media. But the event was missing a key figure: Melania Trump.
People Magazine shared that despite a close relationship with Tiffany, Melania didn’t attend due to no compelling reason, opting to spend the weekend with her son Barron in New York.
