Billie Eilish just shared some sad news about her childhood dog, Pepper.
Unfortunately, Billie says that Pepper crossed the rainbow bridge earlier this week after spending the past 15 years together.
She posted a heartbreaking tribute to the pup on Instagram, calling Pepper her “life long best friend.”
“i will see you again someday sweet girl. you made it 15 years you fucking beast. :’) i love you,” she wrote along with a collection of family photos of Pepper.
She added, “rest easy mama, i’ll miss you forever. this is a really hard day.”
Billie shared additional photos of Pepper on her story, referring to the pup as “a girls best friend.”
She even included childhood photos with the dog, whom her family adopted when she was just a little girl.
Billie’s brother Finneas also paid tribute to Pepper on Instagram, writing that she was a “good, good dog” who gave their family “so much love.”
