Bruce Willis was diagnosed with dementia.

The pair spent Thanksgiving with their large family. Bruce’s wife, Emma Heming Willis, uploaded a photo on social media while they spent precious time together.

The photo features Bruce’s ex-wife Demi Moore, whom he divorced in 2000. They are still close friends and have three children together: Scout, Tallulah Willis, 29, and Rumer Willis, 35. All three of the kids attended the Christmas celebrations.

Also pictured were Bruce’s two children with Emma – 11-year-old Mabel and 9-year-old Evelyn. Captioning the post, Emma said: “I’m grateful and thankful to know this kind of love. Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving.”

Fans reacted positively to the family photo and left comments wishing them well. “I wish you everyone a happy Thanksgiving. You have a lovely family, and your work on caregiving has really impacted me. “Thank you,” one fan said.

Another individual said, “Happy Thanksgiving! God bless you and your family. The love is obvious and wonderful,” while a third said, “Pure love!” “Happy Thanksgiving, Emma and family.”

Bruce’s family announced he had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) last year. The actor was initially diagnosed with aphasia and retired from his Hollywood career.

Scout described her dad as ‘my guy’

In a statement, his family said: “To Bruce’s incredible fans, as a family, we wanted to convey that our darling Bruce has been suffering some health concerns and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is affecting his cognitive ability. As a result of this, and after careful contemplation, Bruce is leaving the career that has meant so much to him.

However, they later revealed that Bruce’s disease had advanced to FTD. This type of dementia produces “communication difficulties,” emotional issues, and unusual actions.

It has now been announced that Bruce’s condition has deteriorated. Glenn Gordon Caron, the creator of Moonlighting and a longtime friend of Bruce’s, described him as a “extraordinary person” who is now losing his ability to communicate.
