Gracie, the daughter of Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, has received an outpouring of love and support since learning she has the polycystic ovarian syndrome.
The 1883 star’s descendant bravely informed her admirers about her illness on social media.
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill wept upon reading the screenplay for 1883’s devastating conclusion.
Gracie posted two pictures of herself, one of which showed her in her underwear while the other showed her with stars covering her face’s flaws, along with a lengthy caption that read: “I just wanted to share really quick that I have recently been diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome).
“You would need two of the five PCOS criteria to receive the proper diagnosis, but I had three.”
We decided to take medication to regulate my body more regularly and develop the skills to continue to maintain my body and myself healthy as I become older. She continued: “At my meeting with my endocrinologist I learned that may have been a component in my struggles with weight.
“I’m figuring out how to deal with the new blemishes, but I don’t think I would have ever allowed myself to go to a doctor’s appointment like this unless I had taken the right steps toward my mental health, because as important as physical health is, mental health goes hand in hand with it,” the patient said.
Fans praised Gracie for being an inspiration.
Gracie said, “Sending love to everybody who is going through anything at all, whether it be a comparable struggle. Mental health is really difficult! Despite the distance, we can travel it.
“I offer my experience in the hopes that it would help someone who can connect to my predicament. P.S. I now have a body that I haven’t had in years—possibly ever—thanks to the medication I’m on. Although it’s difficult, I’m managing to adore her.
Gracie’s admirers flocked to her side and expressed gratitude for being such an inspiration. The first one said: “Thank you for being you, for sharing your experience, for being an honest and real role model for everybody,” and the second one wrote: “Sending love,” along with two prayer hand emojis.
Several more praised her for being “brave” and “beautiful” and expressed their sincere gratitude for telling her tale.
According to Healthline, PCOS is “a disorder that affects a woman’s hormone balance,” and it also leads to baldness and hair growth on the face and body. Also, it may exacerbate chronic health issues including diabetes and heart disease.
