The insider continued, saying that Davis allegedly refused to divide their assets and maintained that they had never been legally wed, telling her ex to “speak up.”
The conditions of the secret agreement, according to the insider, were “extremely unfavorable to Reza, who agreed to settle merely to put this behind him and be free of the nightmare Geena has produced for him.”
After 16 years of marriage, the pair first divorced on November 15, 2017, with Jarrahy alleging that Davis had expelled him from their Pacific Palisades home.
The surgeon identified irreconcilable discrepancies in the paperwork, which were filed under pseudonyms.
Reza first met Davis in 1998 at a party where he was only 27 years old. Davis was 42 at the time. On September 1, 2001, they got hitched, and the following year they had their first child.
Davis had three previous marriages and divorces before he met Jarrahy.
After three years of living together, she initially married Richard Emmolo, the proprietor of a restaurant, in March 1982. However, the marriage disintegrated the following year as her acting career began to soar.
The actress and actor Jeff Goldblum, with whom she co-starred in the films Transylvania 6-5000 and The Fly, was married in 1987.
They later collaborated on the 1989 film Earth Girls Are Easy before getting divorced.
Davis was married to the filmmaker Renny Harlin, for whom she acted in the films Cutthroat Island and The Long Kiss Goodnight, from 1993 to 1998.
