J Lo’s Summer Tour Has Been Canceled

On Friday, May 31, Live Nation reported that the singer J Lo’s tour is canceled because she needs to take “time off to be with her children, family and close friends.”

Lopez posted a statement on her OntheJLo website and explained why this was a difficult decision for her to make.

“I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary,” Lopez posted. She added, “I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…”

Automatic refunds will be provided for the pre-purchased tickets through Ticketmaster. For third-party purchases, fans will have to contact their point of sale for more information.

The tour was supposed to go from June to August, in relation to her newest album This Is Me…Now, released in February.

This tour was to promote her very delayed ninth album, This Is Me…Now. The theme of the album was about her love story with Ben Affleck from rehashing up their relationship from 20 years ago to the present.

J Lo’s also celebrating her new Netflix film Atlas, released May 24. The film is rated number 1 in 55 countries.

Apparently, Lopez decided to change the theme of the tour to include some of her greatest hits. It had been reported that ticket sales were not hitting their target.

Recently, there have been all sorts of rumors about marital problems between the couple. There are reports that the couple is living apart and they have only been spotted together on rare occasions.
